Probably better than both tvsor and koloss, which is significant

I'm coming around a little on the production. I think compressing the hell out of the drums and giving them such a midrange presence was necessary considering how chunky the guitars and bass are on some of these songs.
I still don't love it but it suits the extremely heavy parts.

I like Meshuggah but this has become ridiculous.
They've written the same song about forty times now.

The sound here is pretty new for them! Riff wise mainly, the guitars sound very different from what they've done in the past.
Pretty cooooool!

Not too sure about They Move Below's job, needs further inspection.
Enjoying the album Imm(ense/utab)ly!

Past Tense is a really special moment.
I have been (in the minority) really enjoying their more and more hive minded approach to each album - diving deep into what feels like an infinitely sprawling singular space.
This is much more referential/external. Curious.

Meshuggah to me is like a great steak with fries, there's nothing too different and complicated to it, but nothing else hits that same spot in quite the same way, and they've cooked it perfectly here.
