I think we need more post-coital and less post-rock. Feels like the- I've done this one before.
Jokes and jests aside, songwriting is a bit more than whether it is structured conventionally. Some of the best written songs revolve around fairly simple melodic lines and concepts. A lot of folk and blues music is like that.
