jamming new venom prison first, completely forgot they were dropping on the same day due to dog emergency, but the hype here has me excited.

To Resist Forgetting is unfucking believable, I think I like it as much as A Flood of Light.

Also, their band name has to be off of L.A. Confidential, right? OG fans chime in…?

Initial thoughts: "Labyrinthine" is nasty. 7-9 need to grow on me. "The End of Eternity" is an absolutely gorgeous gem. The album as a whole is a lot to process. It's definitely beginning to grow though.

Pretty slick reference. Just a surface read but it's like they're saying as a band they're getting away with murder genre-blending like they do lol

Damn. Between this, the new Trenches album, and Venom Prison's new album, metal is off to a good start this year.

Will check this but I suspect the style of harsh vocals will be a deal-breaker for me. Unless they've changed in delivery or quantity since the last record...

“this is better than TWD but not quite on par with Grievances.“

If you’re gonna say such silly things you should put them at the beginning of the review so I know to stop reading
