Think the main issue with both sides of this are the vocals. The lady, whoever she is, is a good singer, but it doesn’t grab in a good songwriting slash catchy sense. The male vocals…lol

Is there? Seems to me that even in most of the more cynical supergroups the members seem to actually enjoy working together, and either way some imagined purity of intent seems like a weird place to draw a line between this and, I dunno, Audioslave
