this is pretty good, i don't get the hate. too many people here are judging this based off of their personal dislike of kanye because he doesn't have the same opinions as they do or he doesn't play by their rules. there's certainly stuff on here that should've been left on the cutting room floor, but there's some bangers too. 'off the grid' is great. 'jail' would have been better if cut down a bit/reworked. the production--the spots where it wasn't monotonous or sounded bad due to the track placement--was also great. not his best to be sure but certainly not deserving of a 1

There are many things more obnoxious than that brother, and while I fully acknowledge I'm being a meanie-bo-beanie, intentionally distilling my sentiment down to "man I wish someone else would have reviewed this" and ignoring the bit where your staff featured review is a rush job in need of some proof reads out of some form of obligation (to who, I have no idea) is very Silly Sausage! Who had a gun pointed at you, Sowing?
Secondly, even if that were the only thing I was saying, it's a bit high horse to assume that every writer is suited to every job and is thus immune to this kind of criticism. Presumably Jac was a better fit for that last Ad Nauseam album than, say, Rowan? Like c'mon man lmao, ofc I would prefer a convo topic this important for discourse to get covered by someone who's not gonna post a day one, and this goes doubly for staff posts.
I can't even say it would have been preferable to post a detailed constructive critique of the review because, duh, its a day one review of a near-two hour record.
