This just keeps getting better with each spin. Much prefer it to Pitfalls (even though Sky is Red is one of my favorite songs from the band).

jamming this for the first time now

if there's any edge Leprous has over other "popular" prog metal bands, it's easily their production. has a lot of punch and clarity without succumbing to progcore-level sterility

Leprous' production on this is bonkers, agree, pleasant to hear all of it.

the only good thing about periphery is production

no, mansoor's production literally sucks the life out of everything he touches

Leprous' production is great because every single instrument sounds clear yet organic

Misha's production is like a vacuum of personality. i can feel my life essence leaving my body when I listen to it

Periphery’s production makes everything sound plastic like. Whether that’s good or not is your opinion but it is very sterile

also, All the Moments and Castaway Angels are surprisingly bright for a string of consistently very dark and moody albums

well, can't say I'm gonna join the hate train on this one

aside from a few select irritating Einar moments, most of this is rather tasteful for what it is. thought this might be the album to cut off my interest in Leprous but they've done it again

I enjoy Periphery, but used to love them. At this point, I enjoy their personalities more than the music itself. I seem to be growing out of it outside of P2.
