No I really like Celestite. Thrice Woven is probably my least favorite tho

I re-checked Thrice Woven and it's still just okay. The big difference between that one and this one (and really all their others, I guess) is that there's no defining moments and all the transitions are very lack luster, none of the moments that are supposed to sound big sound big at all. The songwriting just doesn't stack up on that one. Here, though, they rectify all of that. This one has moments, you know??? Great album, Spirit of Lightning is my shit and is basically an upgrade of the big break in Angrboda from a bridge to a practical facet of the track.

Yeah sorry guys, I meant Celestial Lineage and not Thrice Woven. For some reason I mix those two in my head. If this is better than Celestial Lineage then I will have to give It a spin.

Gonna jam it again. Might just do a discog run. The only album I really return to a lot is Two Hunters, but I've enjoyed basically everything they've done.

Lineage has great bookends but wanders around kinda aimlessly in the middle.

Ill always love Two Hunters the most from an atmospheric standpoint, but as far as songwriting goes I think this is definitely their strongest album. Everything flows, everything hits, its diverse and engaging, just awesome all the way around.
