Okay lol I actually did have a dream that I think listening to this a lot in the evening fed into. Lots of spooky night journeys, border hopping, constantly almost getting lost unlikely family members

i realised that quite a lot of this reminds me quite a lot of Ulver's Blood Inside, which is good because that record is fantastic and relatively few things remind me of it

I only listened to the most recent 2 Ulver records and have only dabbled in Bjork, but I love this album way more than anything I've heard from the two of them combined (which again is a limited sample size, which might be why!)

This is better than either of the two Ulver albs so that makes sense. Blood Inside is several tiers up though + their whole 00s era(s) are worth a skim
