Metal died in 1993. Only 12 good albums have been released since then (most of them in 1994, being already recorded by 1993).

I absolutely HATED this album. They completely lost the operatic atmosphere that got me into Nightwish in the first place. No, I didn't say I hate Anette. I hate the album. Her voice is not suited for symphonic metal. In fact, she was in a rock band before Tuomas recruited her, if that says anything. The orchestration is perfect, though, as usual. I just can't get behind the vocals. 7 Days to the Wolves, Meadows of Heaven, and Eva showcase Anette's talent very well, but the rest... Well, it leaves much to be desired.
