This has its moments but also far too much atmospheric filler for my taste. And the parts I like just remind me of Gigan too much

Yeah I can see where you're coming from in regards to the faster parts
I think the main difference is that this album features a lot more moments that catch my ears than Gigan has
Not like Gigan is a bad band or anything, it's just that they've never really managed to write a part I personally found memorable
And I'm a bit of a sucker for atmospheric filler so this one definitely has that going for it
