Very true. With the amount of music we listen to, anything that came out just a couple of months ago sounds like old news. We need to start realizing we have a serious addiction.

We do, yeah, I tried to limit to 10 albums per month, but then, I gotta be sure I choose the BEST 10 albums of the months, and how do I do that if I don't listen to EVRY album released that month? lol

This is why Ive started buying records again. Have been streaming and downloading for years now just due to personal circumstances are not particularly normal. I spend months travelling etc and dont have a base but getting back into buying physicals again has been a godsend. After getting over the initial shoc of paying 100 times what you were before Its been awesome to to just play new albums over and over and spend REAL time with them again which I thought I always was but was maybe lying to myself. Coincidently just ordered the last 2 OP records. Yay

Yeah, the older I get the more I find myself revisiting things. The time spent listening's what it's always been, but the range is a little narrower. Constantly bumping Bjork threads and such.

Happened to me the other way around Deez, started streaming 4 years ago cause the home economy didn't allow me to keep the pace of purchases of my youth. I still get those 5s and some 4.5s on wax though. Old habits never die.

Yeah I get that for sure. I pretty much stopped buying anything as soon as the internet came to be. At least with any consistency. Maybe like 20 a year or something but I was also travelling around the world. Come back, Live with someone doing a shit job to save to go travelling again for a few years and Ive kinda stopped travelling like that last 4/5 years and so this year started spening money on records again. It feels good for sure. Still download tons for sure but yeah Im hitting my 5s and 4.5s ofcourse. Will get the whole OP discog sooner or later no doubt
