Pretty fucking stellar. I was under the impression they were a great live band and they didn't disappoint. Also managed to catch Johannes' guitar pick when he threw it into the crowd after The Fall so that was pretty dope

"He was one of the two most interesting performers in the band, quite irreplaceable imo."

been saying since they let him go that whoever would replace him would have massive shoes to fill. they weren't really filled on this

walker was able to warp and twist his rhythms without the need for simply throwing in as much shit as possible. he was super refined and helped lift the songs up

rudinger is solid on this but it doesn't feel cohesive at all

Love this still but the lyrics for Tripolar are some of the worst I've ever heard.

Yeah some not great lyrics on here for sure. Still, I keep coming back to this and getting a lot out of it.

Finally got around to listening to this and I'm surprised that it's average is so low. I'm completely in love with Sour Everythings.

I'm surprised at how dialled in most of this is. The vocals are lacking the usual punch.

Wait, did you mean "dialed in" or "phoned in"? And yeah the vocal production isn't great, but I think I'm digging this more than DLT.

You know I think I dig this more than DLT as well. I've been listening to their entire discog and DLT might be my last favourite of their albums. Sucks because it has their best cover art!

Liked the album, but mostly the first couple of tracks. I don't think it's as good as some of their previous ones though. Great cover!

There are plenty of nice vocal parts here. Just some rougher parts too. But those bother me less and less. Drumming is indeed really good. This is my favourite release of the year so far, although I would be disappointed if nothing ends up trumping it.
