It might be a bit over the top at times, as a whole it works for them (somehow).

If you think this is over the top wait till you see them live

I really lost interest in Muse.

I don't get what's so special about Muse. They're just a hybrid of Queen and Ultravox (Midge Ure era). Matt Bellamy sounds like he's trying to channel Midge Ure and the band's composition and song structures seem to imitate a lot of what Queen did way before them and 100 times better.

My roomie is OBSESSED with Muse and I want to shoot myself in the face whenever he plays them. I don't
see why they have such a huge fan base.. His vocals make me cringe. It sounds like his vocal cords are
on crack.. or have tourettes or something. I can't stand how shaky it is..
To put it like this, I'd much rather watch "Pickle Surprise" on youtube
10000000000000000000000000000000000000000 times than listen to a nanosecond of this cd.
I wish there were a 0-star rating.

This album has really grown on me. "Knights of Cydonia" is an amazing album-ender, and the rest of the album does a great job building up till the end.

I agree that the last three tracks are definitely the best. City of Delusion especially. Take a Bow and Map of the Problematique are really amazing too.

Oh that track Map Of The Problematique. It is brilliant!
