Fingerprint Mark is beastly. Envy need more d-beats in their music, they're fucking great at it

Jesus Christ Almighty, I'm just a 130 pounds of not listening to this album and there's no stopping me or anything you can say to dissuade me from this path. :/

Whomst is Pop Smoke. Sounds like a gentleman and a scholar, tbh.

Absolutely delighted that they went back to their signature skramz style, nobody on Earth does it better. Post-Rock Envy is beautiful, but it's just not the same without that manic ferocity.

interesting info from this new interview. apparently the new guitarist Taki (from 9mm Parabellum Bullet) wrote Marginalized Thread, Eternal Memories, and Memories and the Limit

https://newnoisemagazine.com/interview-envy-on-the-fallen-crimson/

also Kawai (unintentionally?) quotes that one Kurt Cobain line from the Pg.99 record - "as long as it is good and has passion"

this fell off for me a bit. it’s definitely better than their last couple of albums but it doesn’t touch their best two albs. after 6 or 7 spins this album got a little too cheesy and one-dimensional for me but I still fuck with it

This sounds really ‘professional’ but it’s strangely the most bored I’ve been listening to a 2020 album so far

And I listened to the new Stone Temple Pilots album which nearly sent me into comatose
