First Time I met Travis he was slurping up pounds of bacon like it was spaghetti and while I too love bacon to be quite frank; I was terrified

Next time I go to a Cattle Decapitation show, I'll bring a flank steak with me and eat it in the pit (kinda like that one guy who was filmed eating cereal in the pit)

Lol that's pretty great. Love when some quirky shit goes down at shows. Very first show I ever went to was Hatesphere, Augury, Obscura, and The Black Dahlia Murder and there was a dude dressed as Ace Ventura in the Cannibal Corpse scene in the pit doing the dance. later on in Black Dahlias set I saw him crowd surfing and he had gauges and someone put their finger in one and tore his whole ass ear open while he was in the ear. Someone also face planted on the stage and lost some teeth too. Another guy tried to run off with a pile of their shirts at the merch table and got jumped by a fairly large group of dudes. It was the most violence I've ever seen at one show and gave me a warped sense of what metal shows are like but I'll never forget the joy Ace Ventura bro gave everyone lol

lol, nice. I haven't seen too much funny shit at metal shows, but when I was at Summer Slaughter in 2012 (and the lineup was fucking STACKED that year -- Cannibal Corpse, Between the Buried and Me, Cerebral Bore, Job For a Cowboy, The Faceless, and a bunch more), there was a scrawny guy with a Blink-182 shirt doing windmills in the pit -- and keep in mind that there were barely any other people in the pit at the time. One of the guys punched him and threw him back into the crowd... needless to say, everyone cheered after that, lol
My brother and I met him outside during Periphery (because we didn't really feel like watching their set tbh) and he was actually a super chill guy despite what he did

Sounds solid. The chuggery around 2:22 on is pretty dope. Also dig the section a little before the 2 minute mark

New songs are better than anything off this album imo. I have tried multiple times to listen to this and it always bores me. Where are the grooves and the sick riffs? They feel few and far between compared to both TAI and MoI.

The journey and contrasts of the boys' last three albums are quite striking.
