Not sure if I'd put this as the weakest, Shelter is my pick for weakest. It's weird though, I think I might just be tired of Alcest after listening to this new record but then I put on Souvenirs and it's the same magic all over again. That album just never gets boring to me. It touches some spot in my soul that I hope Neige touches again because all his earlier stuff like Amesouers and Mortifera does it for me.

It was my first Alcest album and it's all I knew so it was a nice breath of fresh air when it was released. It was like.. non-metal music for metalheads to enjoy which I really appreciated at the time. Then Ecailles was released and the universe was permanently changed forever.

Especially that last track rubs me the wrong way.
