gotta admit as a newcomer to this band, I really don't see how this is .5 worse on average than their last one, it's pretty close imo
anyway love the vocals and atmosphere. even if the music isn't that original, their energy carries this to some real highs
also Hauntologist has to be one of the very worst band names I've ever heard

the hauntologist album (obviously) occasionally sounds just like a mgla album but it has too much other distracting wanky bits. mgla is more distilled, purer, density is off the charts.
