Sorry I don't do that...I thought this and Kacey were pop...sorry if I'm wrong. Only listened to Kacey...and yap it is pop. From what I remember from radio, tv etc...yap...Lana is pop (kinda enjoyed her when appeared). That doesn't mean its bad, though sometimes it is.

Weyes Blood is more for the indie set like Father John Misty, Zola Jesus and St. Vincent - that sort of crowd

I find it truly delectable that Lana Del Rey released a better art pop record than the Holters and Hvals of the indie scene. If you want to offer commentary through art about the state of the world then it's best done on a popular platform. Aviary was a great album about the noise and disinformation of the modern era, too bad no one heard it.

This is art pop for the masses. We started the decade with My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy; now we're ending the decade with My Beautiful Horny Apocalyptic Fantasy.
