I'm surprised False is the album everyone is having trouble getting into, I thought for sure it would be Yellow Eyes.

That shit was so immediate for me. But I think I have a weakness for stuff released on this label.

False could still go either way, just seems a little basic compared to this (maybe I should just stop comparing them, kind of hard now though). I will inevitably do the same with Yellow Eyes.



On a vaguely related note I checked out the latest Misthyrming release the other day, how do you guys think it compares? Love it so far. I’m just trying out some ‘19 BM after sleepwalking through the genre this year up until recently.

Damn, that puts things in perspective then. My ratings will likely be lower, for sure. Yeah that one’s on my radar too. It might take a while to catch up, trying to do-so before the flurry of ‘big’ releases later this year.
