I love Norah Jones.

Gonna try these other 'actual jazz' mentioned. I keep finding more and more to like in the genre over the years. Might as well keep the trend going.

Snarky Puppy slaps live. Their guitarist and bassist are two of the best improvisers in the business

this album is another one of those cases where it really doesn't feel like it's over an hour. I always keep forgetting that this is 84 minutes.

These guys are slowly starting to increase in favor in my eyes. Been binging them all day and I might do it again, can't tell exactly how much I enjoy them.

This is growing on me, and by that I mean it’s gone from horrendous to mildly enjoyable, at least sporadically, but I’m still finding it maddeningly inconsistent from a song-writing perspective. The vox are still a bone of contention and I don’t like how super-bouncy and shiny it all sounds (terriblly lazy adjectives, I know).

I don’t really appreciate having to take a week off work to jam it either.

I'm way more into the guitar playing than the actual songs tbh lol

Don't see the issue with the vox, I think it's a welcome departure from the modern prog/post-hxc/etc. scene's implementation of the 'screaming tenor' approach.

Album is still often in my rotation. The fact that its so long works for me for the same reason that it doesn't work for others. Its so much to digest that it stays fresh even after a lot of spins.
