well for 1 it sounds completely different...more subdued. basically dungeon synth bm. idk it just has my favorite atmosphere out of all their albums. i feel like it wasnt even written by humans

ah my favs are lugburz and minas morgul so i prefer that sound to the signature dungeon synthy sound they have on this and later albums. i like mortal heroes more than this though i find it more captivating. the atmosphere on this clicks with me less than their other stuff for some reason
