I don't think Vector needs more explanation, but for the rest ... most concept album stories are impossible to follow tbh

Not a story per se, but a theme of overcoming life's challenges.

Ironically enough, a vector is another name for a virus

Yea, in biology a 'vector' is an organism that spreads infectious agents, but isn't effected by the virus/bacteria/etc. itself. In the booklet the band thanks their fans and tells them to "spread the virus", thus making the fans vectors. Noice.

And the blood red album cover is fitting too, I would guess the black is the outline of a parasite

It's a Rorschach pic, it could be anything. A Rorschach pic fits well, because the story is about two mindd within one person and one is taking over. In A Cell Devides there are noises that are the audio equivalent to Rorschsch tests. It's unintelligible noises that sound like someone speaking and people could interpret these noises as lot of very different words and sentences. This whole psychology thing is very present on this album.

Definitely looking forward to the new one
This is probably one of the most "grower" bands I've encountered yet; I remember absolutely hating them when I first listened

Same here ^ When The Mountain came out I thought it was total overhyped rubbish. One of my favorite progressive releases in the 2010's now

I wore Prosthetic out, and listened to Canary Yellow a little. Haven't touched the newest single, I want to listen to the whole album. Avoiding singles is somehow easier when I'm familiar with the band.

Yeah, still remember discovering this decade's best prog bands with one hand on a magazine's tribute to prog metal and the other on Youtube search bar. Leprous's ''Cloak'' and Haken's ''Pareidolia'' were both discovered on the same afternoon, one after another. Good times 2013.
