yeah “Daughters’” sounds/looks right to me.
I wanna say a lot of this reminds me of someone’s modern take of early Swans records, but a little more accessible (which, lol this still is not for everyone).
also this has a 3.93 on 1900 reviews at rym. that seems insanely high for that site

swans weren’t always a sprawling post rock band lol. filth, the most apt comparison, is 9 songs 36 min. this album is 10 songs 48 min lol and you literally can’t tell me City Song doesn’t sound like a modernized Filth track
but yeah demon understandable

yeah I was gonna add that i’m sure there are plenty of people that love the no wave/industrial swans and don’t like this, and vice versa. doesn’t make the comparison inaccurate. the point is they’re comparable, not exactly alike!
