The new movie's great, but where was the white trash, shaky cam and arbitrary rape scene? I really missed those elements!

Saw the film on the 31st of October. Really, really good film. Recently, i read that a sequel is green-lighted. It would be for the best to leave it as it is. There is no reason for a sequel imo

Eh you got Green and McBride returning to helm the sequel, no reason to think it'll be bad, their track record is pretty damn solid so far.

Sequel should rule

IMO this was horrible... Not the OST, but the movie. I'm a big horror movie buff but it felt like everything served to make Myers seem badass and nothing more. No story, illogical reactions from almost all characters, no humor or any tension... I guess this is pretty well shot, but that's about it. Man, I was hoping it'll be at least fun :/

The thing is though, why retcon them if the end product literally just ended up being another mediocre sequel? They made it out like this was supposed to be the definitive Halloween sequel and it was just cliche as shit. Also, I thought none of the characters were remotely likeable besides Laurie. Also that opening scene is DUMB but the credits are dope
