Dedication 2 is my favorite full length performance by a rapper along with like Illmatic and Purple Haze. His rhymes and wordplay and flow are just nuts. Maybe try that if you’re not sure about Lil wayne. But idk. This didn’t seem so good but my little brother played a verse where wayne was on top of his game so maybe I should check

I've checked tons of lil wayne stuff, grew up with him aha. He's always been a single/party playlist kind of artist for me though. never really ever in the mood to sit down and listen through a full Lil Wayne album

I actually really like full wayne releases—mileage varies but (and I know I’m parroting every old wayne fan out there with these choices) Dedication 2, Drought 3, Carters 2 + 3 all flow well and his ideas seem to accumulate in a really pleasing way. 2 each his own tho

Dedication 2 and Drought 3 are some of the best mixtapes ever made if not the best. Actually most of his early mixtapes are fire as fuck. No Ceilings is one of my favs too.
