I really don’t find this too polished at all lol. I find it even less-so than their last album, if not WYDS as well. And just gotta HARD disagree on the hooks bit. To each their own though

i mean this is greatly not helped but the fact that like a few weeks one of the best bands of the genre re emerged after 5 years of silence and dropped their first album on par with their best work in like 10 years but

Completely confused on how the production sounds hollow, but yes there are a couple moments when Parker's vox sound strange. Mostly on Take Me as You Please and Let it Go. Just a bit overpolished

No punch? Drums sound great on here and I actually, suprisingly, hear the bass 90% of the time.
Idk I definitely don’t get any production issues with this, other than the vox, though I personally like the way they sound throughout
