I have inside sources that state the next album will be like this but with more core elements of their older sound, I think this is the transitional record for the next stage in their career. I dunno about you but I am HYPED. Best of this + best of their older style = finally topping The Poison for me most likely.

failing to see how it's incelish it sounds more like standard breakup lyrics to me

i have yet not had enough coffee to go into full detail about the framing of breakups in (non-exclusively, but very prominently) trash tier metalcore bands as 2d scenarios of female villainy and/or male disappointment, but if you can't pinpoint a significant chunk of this band's consequent demographic as frustrated young men confused and frustrated by a multiplicity of feelings and perspectives they don't know how to process (and therefore configure as betrayal narratives), that's on you
also this album blows

this review is also distressingly accurate. I could go on about Tuck’s piss poor Syke’s imitation being so on the money is huge cause for sorrow

had stayed away from this scene long enough to half-forget how emotionally unintelligent it is and am having an allergic reaction, plz send help.
on count your blessings now and yep, that'll be me for today

"had stayed away from this scene long enough to half-forget how emotionally unintelligent"
lol so true, at least the decent artists were fun, this super-serious/earnest pseudo-emotional trite is rightfully remembered about as fondly as a dead squirrel in a crawlspace

that's my biggest beef with this record johnny. it's not so much that it's a bad album, it's that it unabashedly echos BMTH's TTS. just makes the band look really sad

I must be seriously missing something here... for one I'd expect far more vulgarity from a true "incel anthem", think some of those ridiculous lyrics off Chelsea Grin's Self Inflicted or Thy Art's debut EP before CJ joined and turned the band into a monotonous low-growl-spam hellhole. This feels far more mature in comparison. I dunno what I am missing here that's making me not hate this band and this album. I definitely see the TTS comparisons tho but I prefer this album a bit.
