Honestly I thought this was a dead Sput cert to finish in the top 10 albums in the chart this year - I knew it was up against it for my personal tastes (for every moment that reminds me of OPN or Clarence Clarity there's another that reminds me of the latest dollop by Sia or Grimes or whoever else) but I honestly thought it'd be a runaway train with the overall consensus here. My third listen was the death knell, the one where I realized even out of the five tracks I thought I really liked I only 'quite liked' them. Before that I had hope it would snag me, can't win them all.

For those interested, GFOTYBUCKS sounds quite similar to this imo with this 'Deconstructed Club' thing or whatever.

Yeah farrah actually kinda rules, that's a great album to put on for people that haven't heard it. Their reaction is like hearing Loveless for the first time, their knees get weak and they get the sensation of falling into a musical black hole.

No album is as bad as Y.S. - a.k.a. Tha Thizz Kid. Someone I knew in middle school made it because his dad was a producer for Mac Dre. Mistah FAB, Mac Mall, Dru Down, Yukmouth, Bleu Davinci, so many bay legends are featured on it but it's still the worst musical thing to exist.

Heard this on a podcast my dad was listening to. Happy SOPHIE is successful enough to reach the normies.
