Alb cover suggests a title closer to "buttfucked by an elephant"

This album is just boring. I’ve loved and hated various parts of all of Keenan’s band incarnations but I’ve never been bored until now. Shame.

I was just listening to the first couple of tracks on spotify yesterday and while it doesn't sound like 13th step at all, it still contains some traces of the band's sound so I'm satisfied with the album so far, maybe I didn't like the doomed at all and the fish song is quite a tricky song, but after a few listens you assimilate them, at least from my point of view. And those who are angry that the album does not contain heavy tracks, well let me tell you that what makes a perfect circle great is not their heavy songs like pet or judith but the more emotional/atmospheric ones like breña and vanishing, I made a Fry meme years ago making a joke with a text like "I don't know if a perfect circle is a band for women or I'm a fucking sexist"

And I don't know you guys, but I haven't enjoy a single album cover since puscifer's v for vagina, Maynard's appreciation of art has got worse through the years

Even the covers of the singles are better than this atrocity

Well, Feathers is the highlight here. Along with the opener. The rest is kinda shit though.

Bland, pompous, turgid, meaningless rubbish with nothing to say and delivered with no point or purpose.

Sput will love it.

Well, color me impressed. As accessible as this was, the atmosphere and delivery made the album a very nice surprise - not to mention catchy as hell.

I enjoyed this, but admittedly not as much as I had hoped after the singles, all of which I really liked. I need a few more listens before I can tell if the rest of the songs are going grow on me or not. I know that I don’t much care for “hourglass” or “get the lead out.”

This just keeps growing. Ever since I re-ordered it to my personal liking, it's just all fallen into place. Not a single track I don't at least sort-of enjoy.
