Every time I think I'm growing out of heavy music something like this comes along

this will probably be a 4.5 in time, it's just gorgeous. Reminds me of my first listen to Sunbather even though it's musically pretty different

For me it's the other way around; I'm gradually getting introduced to and enjoying more heavy music.

"Why is no-one mentioning Balancing the Dark as one of the best tracks? Song goes IN."

This. Balancing the Dark is the best song here imo.

Nah flood of light is the best no question

Whole album is amazing tho.

Very early to say this but this is my favorite album of the last few years at least. I think I like it more than that last Dillinger record. And I fucking love that album

All the longer songs are superb but I'd pick Flood as my absolute favourite. Love The Hollow Hour & Contretemps too though.

I don't see this guys compete in anyway with tDEP...ok jazz influences...although i see its a very well written album i don't see the same uniqueness and excellency as tDEP. That comparison will get some people off of this i think

@Deftone

Yeah I agree, because this is more cohesive as a whole than anything tDEP ever did.
