idk I was so overwhelmed with the theme and aesthetic that I couldn't see anything but a 4.5, time definitely let that fade away [2]

this might be the 2018 edition of Home Like NoPlace Is There for me -- the clear AOTY even if it's far from my most-listened album of the year, just because the concept is so weighty. This drags a little but it's just executed so well that it's my current AOTY even without a lot of standout tracks.
new mewithoutYou and Emery have a chance at dethroning it though. Rolo Tomassi's come dang close a few times, too.
