Yeah Ninja, WTF? I tried listening to Angelmaker on Spotify and it was so generic, so bad. Then they get on stage in front of me and sounded way more melodic and way more brutal. Really entertaining live. I want to say...maybe the best harsh vocals I've seen live? Both vocalists killed it.

feelsbadman, i love them so much, but yeah their live performance in undeniably good. I remember Studio 7 just blowing the fuck up during Abysmal's Breakdown.

haha obviously just my opinion as a guy who generally dislikes cookie-cutter deathcore. But live sounded like a different story. I didn't give them the biggest chance on Spotify though.

Is this album REALLY a 1.5? Or are you guys just jumping on the Michael Keene herp-derp back-when-akeldama bandwagon? Genuine question, as I've only heard The Spiraling Void and genuinely thought it was a good song. I keep on hearing total shit about the album but it's very hard to discern whether it's deserved or just due to meme.

Like I’ve said a bunch, I adore their first two releases, and I enjoy this slightly more than their last outing but it’s still overblown, self indulgent, near unlistenable nonesense masquerading as art. I don’t like it and I love prog/experimental shit.
