What am I looking at? A do-it-at-home vagina-face tutorial?

Looks like this is gonna be Less Majesty pt. 2 for me

Every time I listen I dig it more. The textures and production here are beyond incredible

Is this better or worse than the Flyleaf I'm currently listening to?

I think this is a great album, possibly Bjork's densest, but my god is it overlong. 15 mins at least could've been trimmed.

Agreed. I love me some complicated, exploring structures and the flute/vocal/distortion play here, but man, does it get tiring at points.

Future Forever is one of the best closers on a Björk album, though, in all its simplicity.

Wonderfully written! Been a fan of Bjork's since Debut when I was a child (my mom bought it on cassette...wish I still had that thing around!). Thank you

i decided i need to get into bjork but didn't know where to start so i put this on a late drive home. started out super strong and i enjoyed it for the most part but man this shit was dense. what do now? keep going backwards? go right to homogenic/vespertine?

I'd go Homogenic/Vespertine right away for instant gratification, then cherry-pick albums from there.

What Art said. Although going straigh into the good stuff might harm u in the long term. i would brigde it with smth like Volta.

My advice was the way I did it, and I wouldn't say it hurt me any. Though I do still need to listen to Volta.

I just went chronologically, which considering the strength & relative accessibility of her early works is definitely recommended.

That's definitely the way to do it if you're a sane and patient person, yeah.

Chronologically, yes.

It's quite a way from Debut to this one though, so if you start with Debut after having listened to this, you won't even recognize her. But that's part of what makes her discography so exciting.

Still scared to listen to this, she hasn't dropped the ball throughout her career at all .
