For me the problem Is that the 'scandalous content' (if u can call what happened with SFFB scandalous) kind of works like a conversation derailer in detrament of the music. Like theres nothing else in it worth discussing.

I just feel that in this day and age people want to discuss and Challenge and think about media so much that sometimes some seem to forget theres an art behind all those hot trending topics.
I just see too many folks who dont like rap trying to talk about rap, like theres too many fucks who hate videogames talking about videogames.

While I can definitely agree to that, I don't think Tyler is in anyway to blame for this and Flower Boy is pretty great. (Although it doesn't slap as hard as this)

Tbh I don't even get why "scandalous" "controversial" or even a "hot topic" if a rapper is openly gay/bi whatever. What's the controversy? Is aynone (credible) not in support of this?

mh. Guess I'm not very informed on behind the scenes stuff in the rap industry, but I remember like 2000 positive op-eds about Frank Ocean for example. And I haven't seen anything negative about Tyler. (at least not on the basis of his sexuality) Maybe that's just my lib-cuck filter bubble tho.

Not blaming Tyler at all... Dudes an artist who put himself out there. I just hate people praising it just for being gay when before they either didnt know him or hated him for being himself. Now they want to push this discussion on the genre and they don't even like hip hop... Like, go away.

Him being open about his orientation in an industry thats pretty much unmatched in its levels of homophobia is honestly the only thing I like about this album lol

The only thing I like about this is something completely unrelated to the music. kewl.
I guess I just like every gay artist now. Also every black artist who is open about being black.
Matt slays on junky btw.

merlyns definitely a strange one. verse in follow completely ruins the song for me. his verses on heat and milk and kind of junky are great though, mainly because theyre emotive and rely on his charisma and amazing voice rather than bars because...lol merlyn bars
