The length is the only thing stopping this from being a 5 for me.

It's like a less interesting version of titus and springsteen that happens to be cheesy as hell

like half of this is nothing like titus or springsteen. those (and some other springsteen influenced bands) are probably the best comparisons to this but this is totally something else. it might have some "cheesy" tendencies but it's not full on saccharine come on

If this album is cheesy, I'd compare it to the incredible Spanish Castell De Morella- fuzzy, smooth- textured, slightly sweet, a bit nutty and fucking pungent.

I don't really care for titus/springsteen/gaslight/most of what this is compared to but I love this.

I will concede that the album is lengthy.

It's feel-good message doesn't overlap to cringe for me, but I can understand the complaint.

Say Yes To Life is my least favorite part of this album honestly. I wouldn't mind a bit if it was left off.

Seems like a contrived bookend for the album.

If it were pretty much any other band I would agree, but after reading about what this dude has gone through, I think its actually sincere af

don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to take anything away from the personal experiences that led to this album, it's just feels a bit forced and doesn't sit well with me personally as the conclusion
