lol I was so surprised when I first heard that part.
Detonation keeps getting better with each listen, despite some of the vocals. The way it keeps changing and intensifying throughout the 9 minutes is always amazing to behold. Really loving the psych jamming at the end especially, reminds me of the pre-Stupid Dream material in a great way.

I get serious Glass Arm Shattering vibes from Song of Unborn

Yeah I can hear that. That song is pretty hazy, layered, and psychedelic though. A lot of this is pretty stripped down, though he still has a synth layer or two going on, or some strings which I appreciate.

Detonation's lyrics are some of the best on the album, what you tapping on about?

We're talking about PWED
Detonation's lyrics are great
@Talons it still feels a bit anticlimactic for me but removing it from the context of being the closing song it's still good, great in fact

You mean Song of Unborn? It's not as amazing as Glass Arm (what is though?), but still probably my 5th or 6th fav on here.
I just thought his delivery of the first few lines in the last stanza of Detonation sounded weird, and not sure about the distorted low voice in the first half of the song, but it's a perfect song otherwise.

easily the best track on here and maybe the greatest piece of music he's released in his solo career.

"i'm tired of facebook is up there with xbox is a god to me"
Pretty much. It warranted its own parody: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R12FPi8KOvE

The title track of FoaBP is one of my favorite Porcupine Tree songs, despite its lyrics.

Wilson giving up seeking for a well deserved popular recognition with his own music, and instead trying to sell off this lame stuff to us hoping to fill a damn stadium for once. How sad.

Jesus... how can this be even close to a 2.5? Refuge hits so damn hard. Way beyond average.

FoaBP is fun to jam instrumentally sometimes, if you can find it. Fun to play along with on guitar too, and the first minute and last minute are really nice quiet intro/outros I don't always remember are there.
I'm jamming the second disc and there's a version of Pariah that's acoustic, just Wilson singing, and unless I missed it I think the facebook line isn't there! There's also a few more bonus songs that are fantastic, especially A Door Marked Summer

Refuge and People Who Eat Darkness rule, as does Pariah. Song quality is a bit uneven and I don't like the end so much, but up until song 9 it is pretty great
