"the bit you quoted is from the hidden track with IRO-bot reprise"

OH okay, so it's like how the opening "Time Consumer" riff also reprises earlier in the song

yes except the Time Consumer reprise is still part of 2113 the IRO-bot one is its own track. 2113 ends at like, about 8 minutes in I think then there's a few seconds of silence then the reprise is the last minute

Ah gotcha. Everything flows so well together in that song, I assumed the reprise was part of "2113" proper. Haven't heard the original "IRO-bot" so I wouldn't have known

EDIT: From the Wikipedia article for SSTB:

"Note: On the standard ten-track edition, the hidden track "IRO-Bot" is contained in "God Send Conspirator"; however, on the deluxe edition, it is contained in the "Everything Evil" demo."

That explains it, I only have the deluxe edition of SSTB and haven't yet listened beyond "Elf Tower New Mexico."

The IRO-Bot song is a hidden bonus track at the end of the Everything Evil demo on the SSTB reissue.
