also this album still rips but has major cohesion issues. hopefully by the next lp they have a more complete sounding product bc this is still my fave code orange and really liked the direction they were going sonically

meh they're pretty good but gazas debut is my absolute favorite

Cult Leader fucking slays live tho, saw them open for Dillinger. One of the best shows I've ever seen

Absolutely, you just can't fuck with I Don't Care Where I Go...

I mean you got Gristle, Slutmaker, Pork Finder, and fucking Hospital Fat Bags. Really thinking about bumping it to a five tbh. Albums fucking brutal

And ya, I'm really excited to see where cult leader goes. They have all the potential in the world

Not a fan of Cult Leader aside from a couple tracks but I've seen them three times and they always absolutely crush

“lol you're the one that rated this glorified nu beatdown bullshit a 4.5 tho”

Oh I know lol, but something can be really good and still have it’s flaws. I just call it how I see it.

Saw them open for Meshuggah last month.

They did absolutely crush.

They crushed until the exact moment that Meshuggah stepped onstage and re-defined the universe as it had been known previously.

I dig this, and admittedly haven't seen them live... but i have to confess i'm a little confused by the massive hype. it's cool and all, but not special imo
