Ayup, just got this bad boy back on the playlist, still the most engaging thrash.

Didn't that end up being a false accusation? And then he made an album right after calling her a lying whore lol

Sober '25 assessment after a couple of respins: quality progressive thrash with some really spectacular peaks, although a bit pompous to my taste and, at times, a bit too pompous for its own good I think. The chord harmonies and textures is where they shine the most imo, will always love Vektor for that.

Fav tracks: Cygnus Terminal, LCD, Ultimate Artificer, Pillars, and - yeah why not - Recharging the Void

yeah, agreed with most of the above. The pomposity can be marginally overbearing and I do think (as previously said) the attempted climaxes can be a little overabundant (and the tricks become familiar after a while - this was so much more impactful in the earlier years when it benefited from a modicum of shock value). I suppose it's a 'kitchen-sink' deal and that's for better or worse. Your select cuts are certainly close to mine.

"I uploaded it myself I promise it’s clean and Christian"

there was more chance of me clicking the link when someone suggested it may have been porn tbh

Outer Isolation hit the sweet spot for me, still my favourite Vektor album.

They're both mid. Black Future is their best by a very wide margin.

Aren't these guys releasing something new shortly? I remember they made a statement last year in October that new material was being recorded and finalized.
