It's above-average atmospheric metalcore; there's some genuine emotion in this thing and it hits pretty hard, but 4.0 may be a bit high TBH. Might lower it to a 3.5. Lock & Load is laughably bad, like wtf were they even thinking?

nah zombie was sweet. It was the most straightforward they have been and was better because of it. None of this "obscure lyrics and weird song arrangements over spacey synth samples with more pretentious lyrics and bad guitar tones" We have had since Dark Throne.

I like zombie but it's just average TDWP. I like average TDWP but it doesn't compare to their better stuff, like this entire album, or Chicago and other parts of Dead Throne, etc.



Nothing on Zombie even comes close to the songwriting found in Evergreen or Home for Grave Pt 2. Plus it's like a 4 song EP anyways.

That's why it works, the EP format allows for minimal filler.
It's a short, focused burst of music instead of bloated shit they put out
