Map Change sounds like Bring Me the Horizon (TIAH era (when they were good)) had an orgy with Confide and Rise Against. I tried to like it.

^Hahaha of course Converge is better than almost everybody in this genre and arguably including ETID, but the fact that you rate A day to Remember album higher than this one, speaks for itself.

I feel like Converge and ETID are striving for completely different things though and dont really merit comparison. Of course loosely they operate in the same genre(s). However, whilst Converge are astonishingly good at brutal, emotionally engaging and exhausting music, ETID excel at more upbeat and party-esk hardcore and dont pretend to be as heavy as stuff like Converge, even if occasionally they inject some serious subject matter into their work.
