Talking about Swallowed, I still have to listen to the E.P from theirs. Great fucking band (unlike Be'lakor)

As a person who's just getting into Melodic Death Metal, I was absolutely blown away by this album. I personally think it's their best work (though I'll be going back to Stone's Reach to double check). Definitely an AOTY contender so far for me.

check their first album too! basically the only great modern melodeath band, if you ask me. I'll give one more chance to Insomnium this year, but their last 3 didn't do really anything for me

Oh yeah, I loved their debut, and Stone's Reach. I just want to give Stone's Reach a couple more listens because I think I'm really close to bumping my rating for it.

this didn't capture me like their first two, but it's still really good. a bit better than the last one. the closer is a really cool song. especially that keyboard riff in the middle. all the way from the acoustic guitar building up to it, and then playing around with the riff for the next minute or two, it's just too fucking good! a definite highlight of the album, and a refreshing thing to hear, not just from this band, but the whole genre.

This is pretty fucking sweet, as expected from Be'lakor. There is definite replay value. The final track is the best by far, as always.

Years from now, when they have 10 albums out, they should make a compilation with final songs like sanguinary, countless skies, the smoke of many fires etc. If the trend continues, it's gonna be a 5.0

Really nothing bad to say about this. I think Luma might be my favorite track, it's only like 2 minutes but damn when that solo kicks in the at the end. Perfect melodeath track.

These guys look nothing like I expected, I always picture typical old-school looking metalheads with long hair and all of that like a lot of melodeath bands.

Haha yeah they look like some British metalcore band. Good to see them breaking barriers.

I probably win more in 1 day than these guys in 1 month.

Shame.

One of the few really great bands around.
