Best Brian moment though has to be the bit in Caroline,No where he's singing "break my heart I wanna go and cry, it's so sad to watch a sweet thing die, oh Caroline why?"

And the saxaphone that shows up then too, oh I get chills.

I do love this album but I Know There's an Answer doesn't breathe the same air as the rest of the songs. should not have made the cut imo

Sloop is the one that’s out of whack here in relation to the album but it’s still one of the greatest things ever.

Sloop is perfect where it is. Let's Go Away is the mystical, ethereal start of a journey and then Sloop is the hard cut to a few months later when it's all gone to shit and you just want to go home. one of my favourite combos on the album

Does anybody know what instrument plays the introduction of "wouldn't it be nice". My first reaction was that it's a guitar (or an arrangement of guitars mashed together). Now i'm not so sure that's the case.

Btw, Brian Wilson is probably the nicest person in music buisness.

I Know There’s an Answer’s chorus kills, great song. I often forget Sloop John B is on this album and could maaaaybe do without that or I Just Wasn’t Made For These Times

Sloop John B is the only song I never fully loved on here, but it's still a good track

@rockandmetaljunkie all I know is that it's Kessel playing that intro. So its either mandolin or guitar
