I do get some of the band's appeal, and sometimes I'd go as far as to say a couple of songs on some of their albums I actually rate highly (the closer on this, 'On GP, etc) - but overall those vocals just smother everything to death
By the time this band finally quit I'll probably have downloaded ten tunes for a mixtape I'd probably 3.5-4.5/5

I feel the same. I get why people enjoy it, but I don't think it's quite as groundbreaking as torts says, nor do I think it's quite as crap as Gyro claims either.
