It's funny how people always mention the chorus part of Demon of the Fall, and yet nobody seems to mention the clear-vocal segment, which is probably one of the most beautiful and cathartic moments in Opeth's discography :]

I might have to review this album someday... I've been trying to finish up Opeth's discog as well and this record has been getting higher and higher as far as my favorites by this band go. There's something very otherworldly about it

nah i think morningrise and blackwater park are the peaks of their two unique styles and morningrise is more creative probably

Morningrise was my favorite a while back but it's definitely GR these days. Morningrise is definitely 2nd or 3rd still. Pretty close between that and BP for the 2nd spot
