i can see myself finding this boring as all hell maybe about 3 or 4 years ago. But I've been a post-metal/sludge/progressive feind for the past while

that and being heavily exposed to jazz due to my best friend studying it

because it's the number one trending album which'll probably introduce a lot of people who frequent the site to the band. plus it's being generally very well received which might give people the impetus to check the band out even if they were aware of them previously.

Some people go chronologically, some people go backwards. Some just listen to what's new.

All their albums are worth hearing, Habitual is wonderful. All clean vocals and pretty much no sludge though for those who care about that, which doesn't include me.

Habitual is great yeah. It has Milk Leg, The Welding, Sore Sight For Eyes, Harmonomicon and Eventual. Void edges Habitual but not by much, mainly because it has Nostalgic Echo (rules face)

Prehistoricims is slightly better than this, but they're pretty much equal to me. Only time will tell.

no, its not, because i asked apollo, a long time sput homie who definitely knew of this band for years, why he specifically started with this when im pretty sure he knows better. what i didnt ask, however, is user direngay to explain why the general fuckin public start with this album. thus it was a stupid fuckin response.
