At least this was better than Resolution. Its no Ashes or Palaces though. Still think those 2 albums are LOG's bread n butter

Much much better than resolution. Yeah, it's not as good as those, but I feel like at this point in their career to expect them to top those would be wishful thinking on my part. I'm interested to see where they take it from here though.

Also, reading Randy's autobiography made me like this album way more

I've read the story behind this song a few days ago. Nice gesture by Randy.

Stopped caring for this band since Sacrament. Palaces and Ashes are fucking rippers on the other hand.
Never listened to this album in its entirety. I do think "Still Echoes" goes hard though.

This is my favorite since Sacrament, give it a full spin some time. Palaces will always be my favorite, but Ashes will always be second

Palaces rules incredibly hard. Palaces and Ashes are basically all-out riff-fests. I think LoG got rather stale starting from Sacrament.
From this album I only listened to few tracks. I think "512" is good, but "Overlord" is pretty cringe and I found "Embers" to be rather boring (despite me being a huge Deftones fan).

Now back to LOG being a radio band, while I never really considered them that until I heard Duke. Duke screams Radio single, while it's nice that it's a tribute song I've heard much better tribute songs. Ah well, I started losing interest in LOG since Ashes I quit listening to LOG after Sacrament. I'm more of a Palaces, and Gospel type of guy.

Greg Pusciato on Torches was a nice surprise to me. Good album. The only thing about this guys is the formulaic songwriting. I really like more when they go experimental and take different paths.

oh nvm, they're just doing a covers album

though why they're doing it under the Burn the Priest name is kinda dumb.

Never thought I’d hear Chino on a LOG record.

Weird thing is he works really well in the song he features on haha, great album m/
