Dude, the bands aren't even on the same level imo. Haken is like a more modern Dream Theater, while Leprous has more of its own identity.

I like the opener, but "Slave" puts me to sleep really fast. The rest I can't even remember, save for some grating harsh vocals. One day I'll gather the courage to jam it in full with attention.

The song Rewind is getting a lot of praise, but I don't see what's so special about it.

The Price was a great opener and really got my attention, but the rest of the album is not as easy to digest. Sure the album is different, but I don't know that I am prepared to endure the repeated listens this needs. Seems tiresome.



Also the album has some very awkward transitions like the start of Third Law, and some songs seem inappropriately happy and cheesy sounding like Rewind. This is how I see it now, but maybe my mind will change. Only listened 2 times.

yeah I gave this album to many chances. This isn't for me. Vocalist seems like he's overdoing it a bit, and the overall mellow mood of the second half is a bit underwhelming. Still think The Price is a really good song though. But this album really annoyed me and got worse as it dragged on.
