This whole album is testament to todays music.

An accessory to a previous time and place.
A time and place which once thrived with invention, influence and excitement and has now become nothing but commodity.
It's all a commodity.

To mine, this rules. Half the tracks here are fantastic, the rest are good to very good

Production on here is bad af but some tracks are among FNM's best material. This is a solid 3.8 for me, and if production was better it'd be a straight 4.

Like deezer said, I love them, really, but they have nothing to do together anymore.

i don't know it's hard for me to really deem them "over and done" when the show i saw of theirs in Dallas in 2015 was possibly the best concert I've been to in my life

for a new album i wouldn't want it to just be Sol Invictus 2 though, maybe something leftfield like a record full of mostly "Stripsearch"-esque tracks

Yeah man, I love them too. I dont know where Id be musically if it wasnt for buying Angel Dust on cassette as a teen. I dont want to see them shit on their legacy like many bands do. This didnt. It was all right. Enough to be interesting for a bit without the shitting but leave it now. Pattons been doing better things than this record for a LONG time.

Have to agree, saw them in 2015 as well and they kicked some serious ass on stage. Best concert of the festival I've been to by a mile. Wouldn't write them off, they still have the potential to kick out an awesome record.

This record was great, better than any of us expected or deserved

If they come out with another album, wickedt. If this is it, that's fine too. This is a solid note to go out on, which leaves a better taste than AOTY (even if that album rules in its own way)
