Seriously though, the lyrics on this is horrible. On the flipside this is the first Dance Gavin Dance album i've listened to so I have to ask, are their other albums this bad?

@Wadlez My rating is of course subjective, I enjoy it more than someone who may have given it a 3.0. However, 1s/1.5s for a band that obviously understands how to hold a guitar, and hit a drum in time... Is unwarranted.

Well, some people rate based on how original an album is, and considering how insanely derivative this is any rating is justified. Also, there's the enjoyment factor to consider. Which, you know a lot of this is pretty far from enjoyable. Etc, etc, deal with other people's opinions

the biggest reason i don't love it is because like someone else said, they're basically on autopilot at this point
there's nothing new or unique or really interesting on this thing, it just has some catchy songs that i think are fun to jam

I was pretty much in the same situation you are in. To be fair, their first album is quite good and Happiness isn't bad either. I haven't listened to their s/t in its entirety but the first two songs are good as well.
